01 · WHY CORE EXISTS
Good tools, scattered answers.
Most companies have already bought good tools. The project history is in ClickUp, the process docs are in Notion, the contracts are in Drive, the decisions are in Gmail and Slack. Nothing is missing. It is just spread across systems that do not talk to each other.
So people ask each other instead, and the answer depends on who happens to be online. The knowledge exists; getting to it is the bottleneck.
Core closes that gap without a migration: a permission-aware layer over the tools a company already runs, so the answer comes from the systems themselves and cites where it came from.

Bolt on, never replace
A rollout that asks everyone to change tools fails, no matter how good the tool is. Core reads from where the work already happens, so adoption costs little.

Permissions are not a feature
They are the foundation. Access comes from the systems Core reads and follows each document into the layer, so each answer is checked against what the user can open.

Show the source
An answer nobody can check is a liability. Answers and agent outputs cite the documents, tasks and threads behind them, so work can be audited rather than trusted.

Measure it or drop it
Cadex baselines in week one and reports monthly, the way its engagements work. If a connection or an agent is not earning its place, it comes out.
